Candigesic Gel is used as a pain reliever.

Candigesic Gel should only be used externally. Use it according to your doctor's instructions for dosage and duration. Before using, read the directions on the label. Apply this muscle pain relief gel after cleaning and drying the afflicted area. Unless your hands are in the affected region, wash your hands after applying.

Candigesic Gel contains Diclofenac, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate, and Benzyl Alcohol. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) such as Diclofenac and Benzyl Alcohol act by inhibiting the release of particular chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil that helps to reduce inflammation and increase blood flow at the application site. It also improves Diclofenac penetration through the skin. On the skin, Methyl Salicylate has a cooling effect.
