Sucrafil Suspension is a sugar-free syrup used to manage active duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, and benign ulcers. It belongs to the class of medicines known as cytoprotective agents. It can also prevent stress ulcers and bleeding from the gut in ICU patients. Sucralfate works by forming a protective barrier on the surface of the ulcers, shielding them from stomach acid, digestive enzymes, and other irritants.
To use it, shake the bottle well before use. Follow the doctor's instructions. Take it on an empty stomach, either 2 hours after a meal or 1 hour before a meal, at the same times every day, regularly for up to 8 weeks for ulcers to heal completely.
