Storvas AMF 5 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing hypertension or high blood pressure
• Dealing with coronary artery disease, a condition that involves the narrowing of blood vessels supplying blood to the heart
• Controlling hyperlipidemia, a state of having high cholesterol levels in the body
• Helping manage multiple cardiovascular risk factors at once

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• You can take this medicine at any time of day, with or without food.
• It's crucial that you don't stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Storvas AMF 5 Tablet is taken orally.

Storvas AMF 5 Tablet contains two active ingredients, each playing a specific role:

• Amlodipine (5 mg): This ingredient works by blocking the influx of calcium ions into the vascular smooth muscle and cardiac muscle. This action causes these muscles to relax, leading to wider blood vessels and reduced peripheral vascular resistance, thereby effectively reducing high blood pressure.
• Atorvastatin (10 mg): Atorvastatin selectively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme that converts HMG-CoA to mevalonate, a precursor of cholesterol. This action primarily takes place in the liver, the main organ for cholesterol reduction. As a result, atorvastatin decreases LDL cholesterol and total cholesterol, making it effective in managing hypercholesterolemia.

• Store it at room temperature, ideally between 15°C to 30°C.
