Solinol-10 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing symptoms of an overactive bladder in adults

• Controlling urinary frequency: This is when you need to urinate more often than usual

• Controlling urinary urgency: This refers to a sudden, strong urge to urinate that's hard to control

• Managing urge incontinence: This is when you involuntarily leak urine due to a sudden urge to urinate

Follow these instructions while taking Solinol-10 Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush or chew the tablet.

• Take this medicine at the same time each day to maintain a consistent level of the medication in your body.

• It's important not to stop taking this medicine without first consulting your doctor.

Solinol-10 Tablet is taken orally.

Solinol-10 Tablet contains solifenacin (10 mg), which works on your body through various processes:

• Muscarinic Receptor Blockage: Solifenacin blocks the action of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that stimulates muscarinic receptors in the bladder wall. By blocking these receptors, solifenacin indirectly brings about the relaxation of the bladder muscles.

• Increasing Bladder Capacity: By relaxing the bladder muscles, solifenacin allows the bladder to hold more urine, effectively increasing its capacity.

• Reducing Urinary Frequency: With increased bladder capacity comes a reduced frequency of urination as the need to empty the bladder becomes less frequent.

• Improving Urination Control: By reducing the frequency of bladder contractions, solifenacin improves your ability to control urination.

• Store Solinol-10 Tablet in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 30°C.

• Keep it away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture.

• Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these substances can stimulate your bladder and increase symptoms of an overactive bladder, which Solinol-10 Tablet manages.

• Try to delay urination when you feel the urge to go. Begin by trying to hold off for 10 minutes every time you feel an urge to urinate. The goal is to lengthen the time between trips to the toilet.
