Rozavel 40 Tablet is used for managing the following health conditions:

• Elevated levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and apolipoprotein B

• Low HDL cholesterol levels

• Controlling primary hyperlipidemia, both familial and nonfamilial, and mixed dyslipidemia

• Slowing down the progress of atherosclerosis in combination with diet

• Reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and arterial revascularization procedures in patients with multiple risk factors but without visible heart disease

• Assisting pediatric patients aged between 8-17 years with familial hypercholesterolemia after unsuccessful diet therapy trials

To use Rozavel 40 Tablet correctly, follow these steps:

Rozavel 40 Tablet contains rosuvastatin (40 mg), which works on your body in the following ways:

• HMG-CoA Reductase Inhibition: Rosuvastatin selectively and competitively inhibits an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase in your body. This enzyme is crucial for producing cholesterol.

• LDL Reduction: By blocking HMG-CoA reductase, rosuvastatin effectively reduces levels of LDL or "bad" cholesterol in the blood.

• VLDL Reduction: Rosuvastatin also inhibits the production of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), a type of harmful fat in your blood. This reduces both VLDL and LDL particles in your blood.
