Remo 100 Tablet is used for the following:

• Managing type 2 diabetes mellitus: The medicine is used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with this form of diabetes.

• Complementing other anti-diabetic medicines: It can be used alongside other medications like metformin when diet and exercise alone do not control blood sugar levels properly.

• Potential treatment for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH): This refers to a type of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and Remo 100 Tablet may be beneficial in managing it.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid breaking or chewing it.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Remo 100 Tablet is taken orally.

Remo 100 Tablet contains Remogliflozin Etabonate (100 mg) and works in the body as follows:

• Inhibits SGLT2: Remogliflozin Etabonate acts by blocking a protein in your kidneys called sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 (SGLT2). This protein is responsible for reabsorbing glucose from the urine back into your blood.

• Reduces Blood Glucose: By inhibiting the action of SGLT2, Remogliflozin Etabonate effectively reduces the reabsorption of glucose. This leads to an increase in glucose excretion through urine, thereby lowering blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
