Novamox 250 MG capsule is a penicillin and broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial infections like chest infections, known as “pneumonia”, characterised by inflammation of airway tubes leading to lungs, known as “bronchitis”, and dental abscesses. It is also used along with other medicines to treat Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) diseases like stomach ulcers.
Novamox capsules will not be effective against colds, flu and viral infections. There are no specific dietary instructions for individuals taking this medication. They can continue with their normal diet.
The active ingredient of the Novamox 250 MG capsule is Amoxicillin which may cause diarrhoea. If diarrhoea occurs, then consult the doctor. Anti-diarrhoea medicine should not be given until the doctor indicates it.
