Medler Plus Suspension 60 ML

Medler Plus Suspension is used for the following:

• Managing symptoms of the common cold

• Reducing discomfort from hay fever

• Controlling symptoms of upper respiratory allergies

• Soothing itchy nose and throat associated with allergies

• Lowering fever in children

• Relieving minor aches and body pains due to cold or fever

Administer Medler Plus Suspension to your child as follows:

• Before each use, shake the bottle thoroughly.

• Use the provided measuring cup to pour out the exact quantity of suspension as recommended by your doctor.

• Give the suspension to your child, ensuring they swallow it completely.

• Do not mix this medicine with other liquids.

Medler Plus Suspension is given orally.

Medler Plus Suspension contains five active ingredients that work together to alleviate cold and allergy symptoms:

• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (250 mg): Known as a pain reliever and fever reducer, paracetamol works by reducing the production of prostaglandins which cause pain and fever.

• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (5 mg): This decongestant shrinks swollen nasal membranes by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors. This action makes breathing easier by reducing congestion.

• Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg): This is an antihistamine that works by attaching itself to histamine-1 receptors in our body. This prevents histamine from causing allergy symptoms such as a runny nose or watery eyes.

• Sodium Citrate (60 mg): Sodium citrate works as an expectorant by making the mucus less viscous. This helps in clearing out mucus from the airways more easily.

• Menthol (1 mg): Menthol creates a cooling sensation by activating cold-sensitive TRPM8 receptors located in our nose and throat.

• Store Medler Plus Suspension at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.

• Shield it from light and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Never store in the fridge or freezer.

• Ensure the bottle is firmly closed when not in use.

• Keep out of your child's reach.

• Increase your child's fluid intake when they have a cold or allergies. This helps thin mucus and soothes a sore throat.

• Encourage your child to blow their nose regularly to clear nasal passages and help relieve congestion associated with colds and allergies.
