Ketoford Plus Cream 15gm

Ketoford Plus Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Ringworm of the body (Tinea corporis)

• Jock itch (Tinea cruris)

• Athlete's foot (Tinea pedis)

• Seborrheic dermatitis

• Candidiasis

• Ensure that the area of skin where you'll apply the cream is clean and dry. You can clean it with soap and water and pat it dry with a clean towel.

• Apply the cream to the affected area using your finger or a clean cotton swab.

• The amount you need will depend on the size of the area you're treating.

• Gently massage the cream into your skin until it's fully absorbed.

• After applying the cream, wash your hands to prevent spreading any potential infection.

Ketoford Plus Cream is applied topically.

Ketoford Plus Cream comprises two active ingredients, beclomethasone dipropionate (2%) and ketoconazole (0.025%), which act in the following way:

• Ketoconazole (2% w/w): Classified as an antifungal agent, ketoconazole inhibits the production of ergosterol - a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting this process, it impairs the function of these membranes leading to the eradication of fungal cells.

• Beclomethasone dipropionate (0.025% w/w): This component acts as a corticosteroid. It works by binding to certain receptors within the cells of your body, thereby reducing inflammation and alleviating symptoms like redness and itching.

  Together, these two components work synergistically to manage fungal skin infections effectively while reducing their associated symptoms.

• Keep the cream in a dark place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Ensure the tube remains tightly closed after use to avoid air exposure.

• Always keep this cream out of reach of children.

• Check the expiry date before use and avoid using it if it has passed.
