HealTears Eye Drops are used for the following:

• Management of dry eye syndrome: this is a condition where the eyes do not produce enough tears, causing discomfort and visual problems.

• Reducing irritation and discomfort associated with dry eyes: this can include symptoms such as itching, burning, or feeling like there's something in your eyes.

• Protection of the eyes exposed to environmental factors such as wind, sun, heating, and air conditioning: these factors can exacerbate dry eye symptoms.

You should use HealTears Eye Drops as follows:

• Start by washing your hands thoroughly to avoid contamination.

• If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use and consult your doctor.

• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.

HealTears Eye Drops are instilled topically.

HealTears Eye Drops contains two active ingredients which work together to provide relief:

• Sodium Hyaluronate (0.1% w/v): This naturally occurring polysaccharide found in the eye acts as a lubricant and moisturising agent. It binds water and retains moisture on the corneal surface, increases tear film stability and tear break up time, restores the integrity of the corneal epithelium and promotes wound healing.

• Oxychloro Complex (0.01% w/v): This naturally derived compound from seaweed acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent on the ocular surface. It reduces oxidative stress on the corneal surface, stabilises the tear film, decreases inflammation and prevents cell damage on the ocular surface.

Together, oxychloro complex and sodium hyaluronate replenish the depleted tear film, lubricate and hydrate the ocular surface, and reduce irritation associated with dry eyes. This results in relief from dry eye symptoms.

• Store HealTears Eye Drops in a cool, dry place with temperatures below 25°C.

• Avoid exposing the drops to heat and light.

• Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

• For safety reasons, keep it out of reach of children.

• Hydrate well: Keeping your body well-hydrated can help manage dry eye syndrome. Aim for at least 8 glasses of water per day.

• Protect your eyes: When outdoors, wear sunglasses to shield your eyes from wind, dust, and sunlight. This can prevent further irritation caused by environmental factors.
