Galirex Syrup is used to manage symptoms associated with common colds, flu, allergies, and upper respiratory tract infections. Galirex Syrup comprises three active ingredients that work together to provide relief from cold and flu symptoms:

• Cetirizine (5 mg): This second-generation antihistamine selectively inhibits peripheral H1 receptors. By blocking histamine action, it reduces allergy symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes.
• Dextromethorphan (10 mg): This ingredient acts as a cough suppressant. It works on the cough centre in the medulla oblongata of your brain to reduce the frequency and intensity of coughing.
• Phenylephrine (5 mg): This oral decongestant constraints blood vessels in your nasal passages to reduce inflammation and swelling. As a result, nasal congestion is relieved and breathing is improved.
