Estroplus Tablet is used for the following:

• Prevention of unwanted pregnancy

• Decreasing blood loss and pain during menstruation

• Reducing the risk of ectopic pregnancy

• Lowering the incidence of benign breast disease

• Reducing the risk of ovarian and endometrial cancer

• Management of moderate acne vulgaris

Here are some instructions to follow while taking Estroplus Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Take the medicine at approximately the same time each day.

• Do not break, chew, or crush the tablet.

• Never take more than your doctor's recommended dose.

Estroplus Tablet is a combination medicine that contains two active ingredients:

• Dienogest (2 mg): This progestin acts primarily by suppressing the release of gonadotropins from the pituitary gland through negative feedback on the hypothalamic pituitary ovarian axis. This action inhibits follicular development and ovulation, effectively preventing pregnancy.

• Ethinyl Estradiol (30 mcg): As an oestrogen, Ethinyl Estradiol complements the action of Dienogest by contributing to the suppression of gonadotropins. It also plays a role in secondary mechanisms such as thickening cervical mucus to impede sperm penetration and thinning the endometrium to reduce chances of implantation.
