Allercet-DC Tablet is a combination medicine containing cetirizine and phenylephrine. It's used to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis, hay fever, and common colds like nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and watery eyes.
Allercet-DC Tablet contains two active ingredients. Cetirizine is an antihistamine that blocks histamine, a chemical in your body that can cause allergy symptoms. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in your nasal passages to relieve congestion.
Swallow the tablet with water, with or without food. It is crucial to stick to the prescribed dosage and not exceed it without consulting your doctor.
Some common side effects of this tablet may include drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, tiredness and stomach problems. If you experience any adverse effects or if these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor immediately.
