Contraindications

Overdose and Missed Dose

• In case you happen to put a few extra drops of this medicine in your eye, do not panic. Rinse your eyes with clean water at room temperature. If any symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

• If you miss a dose of this medication, instil it as soon as you remember. However, if it is near the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to catch up.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve after discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Temporary stinging or burning sensation can be managed by resting your eyes for a few moments after administration.

• Blurred vision is a common side effect; rest your eyes and do not engage in activities that require clear vision until it subsides.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Dexamethasone + Moxifloxacin may cause temporary blurred vision. Do not drive or operate machinery until you are sure you can do so safely.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• The use of Dexamethasone + Moxifloxacin during pregnancy or while breastfeeding should only be considered if the potential benefits to the mother outweigh the potential risks to the baby. Always consult your doctor before use.

Caution in Other Conditions

• This medicine should be used with caution in patients with diabetes, glaucoma, or cataracts.

• Elderly patients are at higher risk of tendon problems and cardiac effects and therefore should use this medicine with caution.
