Contraindications

• Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol is contraindicated in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, smoke and are over 35 years old, have a history of blood clots, stroke, or heart attack, have severe liver disease, have certain types of migraine, have or have had breast cancer or other estrogen-sensitive cancers, and have undiagnosed vaginal bleeding.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol may interact with certain antibiotics (such as rifampicin and griseofulvin), anticonvulsants (like phenytoin, carbamazepine and phenobarbital), and HIV medications (such as ritonavir), and herbal supplements like St. John's Wort.

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol may result in nausea, vomiting, breast tenderness, dizziness, fatigue and withdrawal bleeding. If you experience any of these symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.

• If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

• Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• Drinking plenty of fluids can help manage side effects such as nausea.

• To manage headaches, try resting and taking a break from your regular activities.

• If you experience mood changes, try to rest and relax.

Use in Driving and Operating Machinery

• Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol may cause dizziness or fatigue. If you experience these side effects, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

• Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Caution in Other Conditions

• Women with a history of liver disease or cancer should use Cyproterone + Ethinyl Estradiol with caution. Also, women with a history of blood clots or stroke should consult their doctor before using this medication.
