Contraindications

• This medicine is contraindicated in patients with a severe allergy to milk proteins or any component of the medicine.

• It is also contraindicated in patients with cardiovascular disorders such as coronary insufficiency, arrhythmias, hypertension, convulsive disorders, thyrotoxicosis, diabetes mellitus, ketoacidosis, and hypokalemia.

• Ciclesonide + Formoterol Fumarate may interact with antifungals (such as ketoconazole), beta-blockers (like propranolol and metoprolol), diuretics (such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide), monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants (like phenelzine and imipramine).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• An overdose of this medication may cause reversible adrenal suppression, or excessive doses may cause symptoms such as angina, hypertension, hypokalemia, tachycardia, nausea, dizziness, and tremor. If you observe any of these symptoms, inform your doctor immediately.

• If you forget to take this medicine at its scheduled time, take it as soon as you remember. However, do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
