Uses of Cefoperazone

  • Cefoperazone is primarily used to manage a variety of bacterial infections. It belongs to the class of third-generation cephalosporin antibiotics.

  • It is also indicated for managing respiratory tract infections, peritonitis and other intra-abdominal infections, bacterial septicemia, skin and skin structure infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, and other infections of the female genital tract, urinary tract infections, and bone and joint infections.
