Age and Dose Restrictions

Contraindications

• Benzalkonium Chloride + Brimonidine is contraindicated in patients with a known allergy to either Benzalkonium Chloride or Brimonidine. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, and Raynaud's phenomenon.

Other Medications to Avoid

• Benzalkonium Chloride + Brimonidine may interact with other ocular medications, including intraocular pressure-lowering agents (such as timolol), other eye drops containing preservatives (like thimerosal), and anti-inflammatory eye drops (such as prednisolone).

Overdose and Missed Dose

• In case you happen to put a few extra drops of this medicine in your eye, do not panic. Rinse your eyes with clean water at room temperature. If any symptoms persist or worsen, inform your doctor.

• If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.

Management of Side Effects

Most side effects are temporary and generally harmless and resolve when discontinuing this medicine. However, if you experience any severe side effects or worsening of any of the symptoms, please consult your doctor.

• If stinging or burning is bothersome, gently flush your eyes with clean, lukewarm water to alleviate discomfort.
