Dr. Snigdha Sharma

Dr Snigdha Sharma (MBBS) has received INTERNATIONAL BEST RESEARCHER AWARD 2023- ISSN International Research Awards and Congress (IIRAC-2023) and Young Researcher Award 2022- INSC International Publishers for research in medical field and is currently the editor of the book series- Futuristic Trends in Medical Sciences with the Iterative International Publishers along with working as the Global Surgery Cohort Project Intern with Global Surgery Cohort ICORMed Collaborative.

She served as the Indian Representative at the Consortium of Universities for Global Health and a member of the Global Health Workforce Panel (GHWP) for the 2021-2022 cohort and has actively conducted workshops and online sessions on 'Clinical Communication Skills' once a month from May 2020-2022 catering to medical and nursing students from India, USA, Australia, and England as the Indian representative of Glocal Academy (United Kingdom). She has also contributed to an initiative promoting Listening with Empathy among healthcare professionals and interned with the International Listening Association (USA) to organize the International Day of Listening on September 17, 2020, titled Listening with Empathy.

Additionally, as the organizing secretary, she organized India's first all-virtual medical conference for students, WEBMEDQUEST, in 2020. She has also worked as an ambassador for medical students at various international conferences.

Dr Snigdha Sharma has authored over 10 research papers, including original and review articles, during her undergraduate years, with some currently communicated for publication. She has also served as an editor and a member of the Review and Editorial Board for several esteemed national and international medical journals, including PUBMED-indexed journals.
